Jasmine is one of the best known and most highly esteemed of British hardy ligneous climbers, is a native of Northern India and Persia, introduced about the middle of the sixteenth century. In the center and south of Europe it is thoroughly acclimatized. The Spanish or Catalonian Jasmine is a native of the north-west Himalayas, and cultivated in the Old and New World. This is the Jasmine of the perfumery trade, one of the flowers most valued by perfumers, and grown at Grasse. Its delicate, sweet odor is so peculiar that it is without comparison one of the most distinct of all natural odors, and until quite recent years, it was believed that it was the only scent that could not be made artificially. The blossoms, which are very large and intensely fragrant, are produced from July till the end of October, but those of August and September are the most odoriferous, the normal harvest being generally in full swing about the middle of August. The flowers open every morning at six o'clock and are culled after sunrise, as the morning dew would injure their fragrance. An acre of land will yield about 500 lb. weight of Jasmine blossoms.

Dark Caramel, Keemun is one of the most popular congou (black) teas. Because of its deep winey, almost orchid-like flavor and splendid dark red color, it is often referred to as the "Burgundy of teas". The aroma of Keemun is fruity, with hints of pine and floweriness which creates the very distinctive and balanced taste. It contains less caffeine than Assam teas. This leaf with its distinctive fragrance has long been the favorite tea of the Queen of England. Rooibos is an earthy South African herb (Asplathus linearis) that translates to "Red Bush". Often mislabeled Red Tea. Smooth & mellow taste in a deep red cup. It has a superior, natural sweetness that is unsurpassed, smooth and succulent with an aromatic after taste. Modern medical institutes have taken quick notice of the medical benefits of consuming this beverage and have amassed findings on Rooibos including anti-viral, anti-spasmodic and anti-allergic properties. They have also found that Rooibos is over 50 times more active in anti-oxidant properties then green tea! This is good news for a lot of green tea drinkers especially because of the low price of Rooibos. It makes a wonderful economical alternative. Rooibos is caffeine free, rich in naturally occurring trace elements, and contains healthy amounts of Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Fluoride, Manganese, Zinc, Calcium, and Vitamin C. It also contains fair amounts of alpha-hydroxy acid, which is known to promote healthy skin. This is truly an amazing plant that is just starting to make its way into western culture from its mountain peak home of South Africa.Dark Caramel is typically enjoyed without milk or sugar; however it goes well with milk as well.
Gauguian's Impression, An intriguing blend sure to be a favorite. Stand alone fragrances and tastes that blend together like colors swirling in a tropical island sunset.A black tea base infused with Tahitian Vanilla and French Lavender. With the first sip the lavender is lightly noticeable. The vanilla creeps up behind as the liquor leaves your palate. Two distinct and separate tastes blending into one. A memorable experience. This rich and thick flavor evokes a warm â??Welcome Homeâ??! A dash of sugar can add to an already delicious flavor. Bright and Coppery. Contains luxury black tea, lavender, sunflower, calendula petals and natural flavors As always, we utilize natural flavors. High quality tea tastes good and natural flavors do not mask the natural taste of the high grown Ceylon tea. (The norm for many making flavored tea is to use overpowering artificial flavors, which can be used to hide lower quality tea). Natural flavors do not leave an aftertaste giving the tea a clean and true character. It should be noted that natural flavors tend to be somewhat â??soft â?? and the flavors slightly muted, but for many this is a refreshing change and one of the desired attributes of our naturally flavored teas. Fragrant French Lavender flowers stir delicate, lingering memories of a romantic realm. Sedative, aromatic, carminative and nervine properties. A nervine and antidepressant it is calming and relaxing, often used in perfumery.

Lemon Basil Oolong, A delicate tea blend that remains true to itâ??s name. Like a refreshing desert with a touch of something special it is a trendy finale to the perfect dinner. An elegant decoration with fine marigold blossoms underlines this premium image.Oolong Teas also known as Wu-long tea ( the new slimming tea that helps burn fat ) are picked by hand during the spring and winter months. Oolong tea is semi fermented which is one of the reasons it has such a unique character compared to Green Tea (unfermented) and Black Tea (fermented). Oolong tea is not black tea, nor green tea. It falls between the two. Plucking comes later in the season producing a larger leaf than green. During production, the leaves are left to oxidize until the edges are a golden brown. This produces a brew that is more pronounced than green with none of black tea's astringency. The original oolong tea plants came from China; due to limited cross-cultivation, oolong tea plants in Taiwan are very pure with only seven or eight varieties. Most Taiwan (Formosa) oolong teas are grown in high mountain regions on the slopes of the Tung Ting Mountains in Formosa's Fujian province. The cooler environment leads to slower growth and fewer crops meaning the tea is always in demand.
Cassis
Elegant & refined. It has "big" fruity, berry flavor. What truly good uncluttered flavored teas are all about. This full-bodied tea has become a traditional favorite in fine
restaurants all over America.
This tea is made from top grade Anhui Province Black Tea with natural bold medley of ripened Cassis (black currant) flavoring. When brewed this tea produces a bright
coppery color liquid with a delectable and naturally sweet cup and with touches of mild astringency. A fantastic fruit tea.
Cassis is commonly known as Black Currant. It traditionally favors cold climates and is particularly aromatic. Each part of the plant; leaves, stalk buds and the fruits
themselves contributes its own flavor and perfume. It is made into a very popular beverage throughout Europe, known for being aromatic in smell and in taste. This
particular aspect of Black Currant is very evident on this tea.
The Cassis plant is occasionally found wild in damp woods as far north as the middle of Scotland, but is considered to be a true native only in Yorkshire and the Lake
District - when found apparently wild in other parts of the country, its presence is due to the agency of birds. It is easily distinguished at all seasons by the strong
perfume of its buds and leaves.
The berries are sometimes put into brandy like Black Cherries. The Russians make wine of them, with or without honey or spirits, while in Siberia a drink is made of the
leaves which, when young, make common spirits resemble brandy. Goats eat the leaves, and bears especially like the berries, which are supposed to have medicinal.
The juice can be boiled to an extract with sugar, when it is called Rob, and is used for inflammatory sore throats. Excellent lozenges are also prepared from it. The
infusion of the leaves is cleansing and diuretic, while an infusion of the young roots is useful in eruptive fevers and the dysenteric fevers of cattle. The raw juice is
diuretic and diaphoretic, and is an excellent beverage in febrile diseases. A decoction of the bark has been found of value in calculus, dropsy, and haemorrhoidal
tumors.
Bear in mind some herbal usages were written with the conventional wisdom of the early 1900's. This should be taken into account as some of the information may now
be considered inaccurate, or not in accordance with modern medicine.

Pan fried Green Tea blended with Rose Petals and Flavorings. Light liquoring with reasonable depth and body. The cherry flavoring and subtle rose hints give the tea a
wonderful exotic character.

Hunan Province produces some excellent Japanese style green teas. Early in the new season the tea is a bright emerald green and has the best flavor noted by a spring
fresh character with pungency and body. In Hunan the tea starts growing about March 15th, and between then and the end of April the quality is very good. Once you pass
April, the quality plummets due to the volume of leaf gathered and the bushes growing too quickly. Our policy is that we only buy our China tea requirements from tea
grown between March 15 and April 15 - you will taste our quality and dedication to better tea when you compare our tea with similarly graded teas. Sencha is commonly
used in Japanese tea ceremonies marking events of personal importance. In this type of ceremony it is the ritual that is of paramount importance as the individual is being
acknowledged. Flavored tea is a relatively new phenomena in Japan and combining flavors with roses and Japanese style green tea is almost considered avant garde'.

Koyoto is the cultural center of Japan. Several centuries ago Koyoto was the religious capital of Japan. Yhis city has a multitude of temples and wonderful parks (where
religious scholars once walked) and more than 1000 Torjii - those typical gate/arch structures that one associates with Japan. The Torjii are large with a top curved like a
samurai sword (respect) and the two pillars are solid and stately (well being). During the springtime this area of Japan is ablaze with new season cherry blossoms and the
air is filled with sweet aroma. (The rose petals in this blend are intended to simulate these delicate cherry blossoms and the flavor is reminiscent of the beautiful smells
waft on the springtime breezes.) It is little wonder that this ancient city has a very high ratio of tea rooms and this tea was created to honor (very important in Japan) this
wonderful time of the year.

Simply stunning. A blend of high quality green tea with sweet cherry and morning rose flavor. A tea to remember.
Crime of Passion

Memories of the Copacabana Beach in Rio. Papaya pieces, sunflower petals and criminally exotic passion fruit notes infuse superior green tea.

What constitutes a crime of passion? Lovers driven wild with lust? Deception? Being pushed by the heart to cross the line? This blend, inspired by a visit to the sultry
hot beaches of Rio de Janeiro captures all of this and more. Brazil is a land of lovers. On the Copacabana beach in Rio, time seems to stand still as Brazilians recline in
the heat of the equatorial sun. Strolling along one might notice sun worshippers and young couples feeding each other freshly cut pieces of papaya and passion fruit as
they wallow in the sand. The sweet profiles of both fruits perfectly compliment the heat, humidity and the goings on at the beach perfectly. We know it might sound
cliché but that combination of heat, sand, water and fresh fruit is so enticing; it should be a crime in itself. With this in mind we created this refreshingly sweet tea with
a sinfully citrus punch you’ll want to enjoy again and again.

The blend has as its base a Sencha style green tea manufactured in Hunan Province in South Eastern China. Interestingly, green and black teas can be produced from
the same plants. Green tea is produced by forgoing the fermentation process required to produce black tea. Instead, the leaves are steamed as soon as they are
plucked, and then bruised either by machine or by hand. The leaves are then pan-fried or basket fired - a process that gives the tea its distinctive glossy look and feel.
Sencha green teas typically have dark green, needle shaped leaves and produce a pale green to yellow, very bright, smooth cup with a sweetish, honey like finish. The
natural sweetness of this green tea makes it perfectly suited for blending with our dried Papaya pieces and natural passion fruit flavorings. You’ll notice that we’ve also
added sunflower petals to the to enhance the visual qualities of the tea – when you’re selling loose tea, looks are important too! Brew a pot today and be transported to
the sultry Copacabana. Incidentally, this is one tea that can’t be beat over ice!

Ginger Peach
An exquisite and beautiful blend with A kaleidoscope of colors. Contains green and black base tea with a distinctive peachy note, ginger, rose petals, rose leaves,
sunflower petals.

Green tea is made from more mature tea leaves than white tea, and may be withered prior to steaming or firing. It is not fermented and, therefore, generally contains
more antioxidants than other teas, except white, and less caffeine than oolong and black teas. Green tea has beauty of shape, a strong fragrance and a rich, natural,
fresh taste. It has a great potential health benefit since most nutrients and antioxidants are preserved.

With black tea, the leaves are allowed to completely oxidize. The Chinese call it red tea because the actual tea liquid is red. Westerners call it black tea because the tea
leaves used to brew it are usually black. However, red tea may also refer to rooibos, an increasingly popular tisane from South Africa.
While peach has a appealing flavor, it also has many health benefits. Some of these include Anemia, constipation, high blood preasure, gastritis (inflammation of the
stomach), nephritis (inflammation of the kidneys), acidosis (deficiency of alkalinity in the body), bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchial tubes), asthma, poor digestion,
bladder and kidney stones. It also helps improve the health of the skin and adds color to the complexion, is helpful in the removal of worms from the intestinal tract and
may help prevent cancer in organs and glands with epithelial tissue due to its high Vitamin A content.A native of tropical Asia, Ginger has been reported to be one of the
best herbs to help strengthen the cardiovascular system, to cleanse the intestinal tract, and to help relieve the discomforts of the common cold. It is said that ginger can
induce sweating, so some people use it during a fever. Good for the stomach, intestines and circulation in treating indigestion, cramps, nausea and morning sickness
during pregnancy. May be used with other herbs to enhance their effectiveness. Good with honey to treat colds and flus.
