F.O.P. (Flowery Orange Pekoe) Oolong presented gracefully with the addition on orange, ginger and
stevia.

Stevia has been added to this blend to provide additional sweetness. Combined with the ginger it
provides a unique, almost candy like experience.

Oolong Teas also known as Wu-long tea ( the new slimming tea that helps burn fat ) are picked by hand
during the spring and winter months. Oolong tea is semi fermented which is one of the reasons it has
such a unique character compared to Green Tea (unfermented) and Black Tea (fermented).

Oolong tea is not black tea, nor green tea. It falls between the two. Plucking comes later in the season
producing a larger leaf than green. During production, the leaves are left to oxidize until the edges are a
golden brown. This produces a brew that is more pronounced than green with none of black tea's
astringency.

A native of tropical Asia, Ginger has been reported to be one of the best herbs to help strengthen the
cardiovascular system, to cleanse the intestinal tract, and to help relieve the discomforts of the common
cold. It is said that ginger can induce sweating, so some people use it during a fever. Good for the
stomach, intestines and circulation in treating indigestion, cramps, nausea and morning sickness during
pregnancy. May be used with other herbs to enhance their effectiveness. Good with honey to treat colds
and flus.

Stevia is from 10 to 30 times sweeter than sugar yet only has 1 calorie per ten leaves. A teaspoon of
stevia is equal to about a cup of sugar. Used in the treatment if diabetes and some studies show it to
reduce blood glucose levels. Other popular uses include as a hypoglycemic, hypotensive (lowers blood
pressure), cardiotonic (tones, balances, strengthens the heart), ant microbial, cavity prevention and as a
weight loss aid.

This unique blend makes for an interesting cup. The tea is lively and refreshing. Orange Ginger Oolong
makes an exceptional, refreshing and exotic iced tea as well as being delicious hot.
